Entrepreneur | Innovator | Creative Builder
“I was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, and moved to New Orleans in 1981. That’s where my journey as an electrical contractor and entrepreneur really began. I’ve always been drawn to building things—whether it’s a business, a brand, or a creative experience. Over the years, I’ve lived and worked in Miami, Los Angeles, and New Jersey, each place adding a new layer to my perspective and passion for innovation.
In 1996, I became a proud father to boy-girl twins—a milestone that reshaped my priorities and deepened my drive. Just a few years later, I launched Cherubs-N-Chocolate, a personalized gift company that grew to over 3,000 distributors worldwide. I sold the business in 2005, but the experience taught me a lot about scalability, storytelling, and community.
I also founded Hoo Knows magazines, publishing 25 regional editions that celebrated local businesses and everyday heroes. That project was close to my heart—it was about connection and visibility.
Since then, I’ve continued to explore new frontiers. I created BeeABacker, a crowdfunding platform to support grassroots ideas, and in 2019, I founded Scanscapes Technologies. That led to Artscapes, where I’ve been blending art and augmented reality to create immersive experiences that spark wonder.
At the core of everything I do is a belief in possibility. I love spotting opportunities, scaling ideas, and building ventures that bring people together in meaningful, creative ways. That’s what keeps me going.”
